• A plant / pest survey is made. We evaluate plants and identify and quantify pest populations. NOT ALL PEST POPULATIONS NEED TREATMENT.
• We encourage homeowners to authorize a soil test. Plant nutritional needs must be met. Healthy plants are better able to resist pests and the stress of coastal conditions.
• An individual treatment course is developed which may include, fertilizer, insecticides, injected systemic insecticides, horticultural oil, miticides, antidesicants. Timing and application methods are designed to minimize environmental impact and increase effectiveness.
• We try to limit our spraying applications to non-toxic horticultural oils. We utilize soil injected Merit insecticide for systemic control of many pests. Our specialized equipment custom mixing on site for localized problems.
• Our Tree and shrub care programs utilize effective materials and reduced risk application techniques . We are constantly updating our knowledge to stay on the cutting edge of plant health care.
